what purpose does one hold onto when talent is all they've got left

where does one go when they're not enough
  does one give up on their goals
  does one accept reality despite its hurtful truth
  i haven't gotten a clue so don't ask me.

  we can stay oblivious and live our lives naturally
  or if others are interested
  we can question beyond what we know and strive to understand.
